Located at the site of the former Manor Park School on Cleveland Avenue, the Morrisville Senior Center shares the Manor Park Municipal Annex with the Bucks County Court System.
The large open hall on the lower level is devoted to the Senior Center and all their activities. The center is open weekdays from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Anyone of 55 years or older can join the Morrisville Senior Center, The annual membership dues are $5.00.
The center is a wonderful gathering place for the senior members of our community. There are bus trips and special events scheduled throughout the year, however the center is opened on a daily basis and gives everyone the opportunity to get out of the house and do some socializing. Seen below, a little exercise before lunch.
One example of scheduled events was Quilt Day back in June.

.
There were quilts of all sizes, shapes and colors. The quilt to the right was over a hundred years old.
Another of the major events is the annual car show.
As the world moves into the computer age, some folks might think the seniors are being left behind. Well that is not the case. The Morrisville Senior Center has a large up to date computer learning center and many members are taking advantage of the basic computer classes being offered. Seen here, instructor Dave White has a way of making it seem easy for even the most technologically challenged student. With so much information being made available by the internet and email, this is a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking to stay connected to the world.
Above, Joan Houpt, Cynthia Aal and Jan Filios get ready for today's lesson. There are also other computers available for someone wanting to do a little web surfing on their own, right.
Seen below are just a few of the familiar faces at the senior center.
Ann Meyers, below, is the current president of the senior center.
While not quite of senior status yet, Bob Pastor helps out where ever needed.
(Left) Bonnie Nase is manager/director of the senior center.

The Morrisville Senior Center is a great place for anyone over the age of 55 to get together and stay in touch with the community. Lunch is served on a daily basis, making another good reason to come on down to the senior center. With all the planned activities, scheduled bus trips and computer learning center, this organization and facility is a wonderful asset to the Morrisville community. If you haven't joined the senior center yet, you owe it to yourself to get out of the house and come down for a visit at 31 Cleveland Avenue in Morrisville.
