Joe Bresley's Atlantic station was on the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Green Street, just across the street from the Robertson Tile Shop (now Toll Bros.) This picture was sent in by daughter RuthAnn "Sam" Bresley, sure brings back a lot of memories.
This picture was taken at the end of Green Street directly down the street from the picture above, but many years earlier. Thanks to Fred Kerner and George Mount for the next five pictures.
Reverse of the picture above, this picture was taken from the Jersey side.
Free Bridge Motor Co. eventually became Simpson Chevrolet.
Earlier version of the picture above. The building in the foreground at the corner of Bridge Street and Central Avenue is still there today. In the 1950s Mesina's candy store was on the bottom floor.
Corner of Bridge Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
This picture is of the 1975 Morrisville Swim Team and was sent to us by Lois Caniglia. It's a great picture. Do you recognize anybody? You can see more pictures of the Morrisville Swim Team at: Morrisville Swim Team. Thanks Lois.
Here's some picture's of the old Holy Trinty chruch before the freeway was completed. There are some of the freeway being constructed also. I found them among some old pictures of my mothers. Jim Brewer Sr. of Morrisville Pa. [sorry about the quality, but I had to fax them since they had no scanner]
