It is easy to see outline of the "Island" from 1500 feet. The creek that made the "Island" an island has long since been filled in, however it followed parrallel to Delmorr Avenue, the main street in this picture.
This picture of the creek was taken near where it passed under Bridge Street. Delmorr Avenue is at the top of the hill to the left.
