In October 2004 Morrisville celebrated its two hundredth birthday. There was a parade ending with the dedication of the statue of Robert Morris, at the Robert Morris Plaza. These pictures were sent to us by long time Morrisville resident Barbara Klepadlo, now Barbara Runner. Thank you Barbara for sharing these memorable Morrisville pictures with us all.

Everybody wants their picture taken with the statue, including the mayor.
The statue of Robert Morris was the main attraction, but the center of attention was James Gafgen, one of Morrisville's own and sculptor of this wonderful statue.
