Falls Township lies in the South Eastern corner of Bucks County where the Delaware river makes a hard right-hand turn. This spit of land made up of sand and gravel from river deposits has been heavily industrialized for years. It was the site of the U.S. Steel Fairless Works. Now it is dominated by WastesManagement's Grows Landfill. There are several notable places worth visiting in Falls Township. Pennsbury Manor, home of William Penn is open to the public on a regular schedule, and next to it is  Falls Township Park on the Delaware River. The river has a deep channel and a large tide change here, making it significantly different from the river just a few miles up stream. Historic Fallsington is the place to go if you are looking for history. Just off Tyburn Road, Fallsington is easy to get to, but easy to miss if you don't know where to look for it.
