Today, South Perkasie Covered Bridge crosses nothing but land. Built in 1832 to cross Pleasant Spring Creek this is the oldest remaining covered bridge in Bucks County. In 1958 the bridge was condemned to traffic, so the Perkasie Historic Society saved the bridge and had it moved to the safety of Lenape Park on the other side of the Perkiomen Creek.
