A slow ride on a backcountry road can be therapeutic, but is it possible today to ride slowly anywhere? And then one day you're riding along and you stumble upon a covered bridge and you just want to slow down and take in the feel of yesteryear. So it is highly probable that riding across a covered bridge will make you healthier by slowing down the fast pace of today's society. Bucks County has more than it's fair share of covered bridges; they make great photo opportunities or just a destination for a ride in the country.
